About FSA

The Free Spirit Alliance is a spiritual networking organization serving the Pagan and Pantheist religious communities. Founded in 1985, our focus is and has been on presenting national, regional and local events where people from all backgrounds can learn and share ideas.

FSA's main events are Free Spirit Gathering (FSG) and our Sacred Sexuality Beltane Festival. All are held at our favorite campground in northern MD. Our fall event, Mythical Journeys, has had two good years so far, and we plan to continue holding it. And new for 2008 is our “Fall Beltane,” Fires of Venus.

FSG is by far our largest event, attracting people from as far away as Washington, California, Hawaii, Texas, Minnesota and Canada, and it's one of the longest-running events in the country.

We've been told that ours is the only adults-only Sacred Sexuality Beltane Festival in the country, with 250–300 people attending each spring. We've developed a national reputation for our ability to work with personal, often sensitive issues in a safe, warm and nurturing environment.
