Ivo Domiguez update Gathering Archives / Gatherings Date: Feb 17, 2005 - 12:01 AM Hello pholks, We just received an email from Ivo saying he will not be able to be at PPhyre. He had just returned from the dermatologist and had a biopsy and has a pre-cancerous actinic keratosis. She wants to treat him with efudex which will turn his forehead and temples into a crusty weepy mess and he has to stay out of the sun during the treatment/healing process which will be 4-7 weeks. He can't start the treatment until the biopsy site is fully healed which places the festival in the middle of the worst of it. The good news is that he should be completely healed. Please light a candle for Ivo; those of you who've met him know that he is a dear person, a wonderful teacher, and a lovely human being. We'll miss him at PhoenixPhyre, but he hopes to join us at AutumnMeet.
