Bardic Circle - Outside Community Center
Bardic Circle is truly sacred as it is one of the most authentically ancient practices we have available to us today. The human voice was the first musical instrument, the first method of passing the stories and songs of laughter, love, and lore from the old ones to the young ones. To be in a true Bardic Circle is to walk the path of the Ancients “IRL”. Come join in the fun, there is no skill level requirement. Content related to the Phestival theme or time of year is appreciated, but not required. We prefer that performances be “unplugged” without electrical enhancement.

Coffee, Tea, Chicory, and fresh fruit will be provided for participants. We know this is a bit early, but we do not want to prevent our ritual participants from taking advantage of our incredible workshop schedule! This workshop will take place Friday & Saturday at 9am.

Witchcraft Over Thirty Years - Skip Clark - Nature Hut
Thirty years ago I gave a workshop on the witch in Europe, who they were and what they were accused of doing. Since then, there has been an enormous amount of research that has significantly enlarged and changed our knowledge. Find out what we’ve learned! Dr. Skip Clark is a retired historian who has been teaching and researching the history of witchcraft for over thirty years. He has presented at festivals and history conferences and has published in this area as well as medieval history and the history of science.
Make a Healing Salve - Joan Candalino - Pavillion
Let's see what plant allies we have on site, infuse them in oil, take infused oils and make them into a green healing salve. You will come away with an understanding of the properties of the plants we used, salve making procedures, and some of the salve we make.

Uncanny Corvids: Myths and Magic of Crows and Ravens - Rick de Yampert - Pavillion
This workshop, based on his book, will examine the history and mythology of crows and ravens through the ages, the science of corvids (one prominent biologist calls them “feathered apes”), their supernatural abilities and behaviors, and ways to build communion – both practical and magical – with these intelligent beings. The workshop will include a PowerPoint program featuring Rick’s crow photos and Mr. Crow art.
Witch Crafting: Dream Catchers - Tourmaline Grace - Community Center
Come join the fabulously talented Thai Dancer to create your own Dream Catcher. This talisman wards off bad dreams, nightmares and evil spirits and are commonly hung over beds or windows. As its name suggests, it attracts and then catches in its web all kinds of dreams and thoughts. All supplies provided.

Sound Bath - John and Elise - South End Fire Circle
Attendees are invited and encouraged to join us for a 1 hour "sound bath" curated by John and Elise. They will provide a soothing soundscape using a variety of musical instruments including handpans, chimes, singing bowls, flutes, keyboard, kalimbas, and gongs. This presentation is open to all, and no movement is required. In the busy, relentless world of continuous information and noise, this sound bath presents an opportunity for festival goers to "reset " their energy levels by grounding to the tranquil sounds created by these artists.
Plant Spirit Medicine: Connecting to the Spirit of the Plants - Aurora - Nature Hut
Our ancestors had a connection to the plants around them on a deep level. They knew which plants could be used for magic because they had a connection to them. In this workshop we will learn about several herbs and then we will go on a short journey with one of them to get to know it better.

In this workshop, learn some of the basic methods of one of the simpler and most accessible forms of witchcraft. Sigils are easy to make, and require next to no materials! Learn how to make your own custom sigils ranging from the old tried and true, all the way to modern creations. Writing utensils and paper recommended.

Join Oracle Hekataios as they work in oracular trance possession to draw down the Goddess for healing, prophecy, and exhortation. Come and worship, and experience her presence for yourself.

Join us at the sacred fire, where all alchemy is possible. Starting with the traditional connection of raising our voices (singing and chanting) and spirits together in harmony, we will move through the portal of divinity with rhythms and prayer. Iniko rhythm collective is a diverse group of players, with study amassed from across the world. From Africa to the United States, lining hands and spirit with sacred knowledge and understanding in order to best serve our community and humanity with the healing magic of the drum.

This is a co-ed sweat lodge and the only one for AM24. Please arrive well hydrated. There will be a quick explanation of what to expect prior to entering the lodge. Be advised: you are NOT required to stay for the entire session & may leave the lodge at any time if you feel uncomfortable.
You Can Play the Flute and Love It! - Spider - Outside Vendor Hall
The Native American flute has been reported to be the third oldest known musical instrument in the world. Native Flutes have been used for spirit calling ceremonies, powerful prayer ceremonies, courting and love songs.I will teach a beginning workshop for those just starting or just interested in the Native American flute. The workshop will cover the basics of playing a Native American flute including scales, fingering and special techniques. How to care for your flute, what to look for when buying a flute and a bit of the history will also be discussed. Whether you own a flute or not you can attend. Flutes will be provided for use during the workshop. I will also talk about and show how to play the overtone flutes.

Spellcraft 101 - Ivy Blackthorn - Nature Hut
Social media has made access to Witchcraft information easier than ever before. Spells are all over as pretty graphics on Pinterest, quick how to videos on Tiktok, and just a quick Facebook post away. Because of this, many new witches never learn that they can make their own magic. They can (and should) write their own spells! In this workshop, join Ivy Blackthorn in a Spellcraft intensive perfect for new witches, solitary witches, and those who just want to brush up on their skills! Attendees will learn: The basics of intention setting, how to be specific in your manifestations, proper use of correspondences, Spell troubleshooting, Creative wordcraft and so much more! All attendees will receive a physical or digital copy of a Spell writers worksheet. Please bring something to write on, and something to write with. A few extra materials will be available for those without access to these items.
Sacred Drum Workshop - Remmi & Iniko Drum Collective - South End Fire Circle
This will be a two part workshop starting with technical skills and a West African Rhythm in two parts to prepare for the following dance workshop. We will end with a flowing rhythm meditation designed to help us build energy as a group to attain entrainment and prayer and to get us connected and ready for the nights ceremonies. All skill levels invited, bring your drum or any other percussion item you enjoy. Dancers always needed!

African Dance Workshop - Saturnin Ba - South End Fire Circle
Saturnin Ba will teach an African dance class. Saturnin is from the Cote D’Ivoire in West Africa. He will teach « N’Goron » a ceremonial dance of the Senufo people from the Northern region of the Ivory Coast. N’Goron is an initiation dance for young Senufo women. All levels are welcome
